1. Who you are contracting with

My Location Engine is operated by Cesar Quinones ("My Location Engine", "we", "us"), trading as My Location Engine. These terms form an agreement between you and Cesar Quinones. You can reach us through the support address shown inside the app or at cqlocations@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use My Location Engine you agree to these terms. If you are using My Location Engine for a company, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

3. What My Location Engine provides

My Location Engine is a hosted tool for film and photography location scouting: storing location photos, panoramas and videos, organising them in folders and galleries, mapping addresses, recording production logistics and owner contacts, matching scripts to locations, scanning links and websites for reference images, and sharing decks with clients. Access depends on the plan you choose.

4. Your account

Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Each account is private — your folders, galleries and photos are not visible to other accounts unless you share them.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use My Location Engine to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright in photographs;
• commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate others;
• upload malware, probe or interfere with our security, or scrape the service;
• store photographs of private property you have no right to distribute;
• resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the service, or work around plan limits.

6. Your content

Your photos, notes and location records stay yours. You grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the service to you and to the people you choose to share with. You are responsible for having the rights to the material you upload and for the content of anything you scan from third-party websites.

7. Our intellectual property

We keep ownership of My Location Engine, its software, design, documentation and branding. Your subscription is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have chosen.

8. Payment and subscription terms

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. The free plan is limited to five folders and galleries combined and does not include Find, Scan, Script or Lists features.

9. Service level

We work to keep My Location Engine available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change as the product develops.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from material you upload, from unlawful use of the service, or from breach of these terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. After termination you have 30 days to export your material before it is deleted.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, and disputes go to the courts of that state. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger or sale of the business. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
