Privacy Policy for My Location Engine

Effective Date: September 22, 2026 · Website: https://www.mylocationengine.com

1. Introduction

Welcome to My Location Engine. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. My Location Engine is operated by Cesar Quinones, who is the data controller for the information described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect contact information (such as name, email and phone number) and usage/location data provided when using our scouting platform. This includes the addresses, coordinates, photos, notes and production details you add to your galleries, your sign-in email, and basic technical data such as IP address, device and browser information and error reports. Our contact email is cqlocations@gmail.com.

3. How We Use Your Information

To operate and improve our platform, facilitate scouting coordination, and communicate with users. We rely on our contract with you to provide the service, our legitimate interests to keep it secure and improve it, and legal obligations where they apply.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information is only shared with trusted service providers or when legally required. Those recipients are: hosting, database and file storage providers; Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record for the sale of subscriptions, which handles checkout, subscription management, payments, invoicing and tax compliance; mapping and search providers (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap) that receive the addresses you look up; the AI and web-scanning providers that process links or scripts you submit; our professional advisers; and authorities where the law requires it.

5. Security

We implement standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, per-account isolation so one account cannot read another's locations or photos, and short-lived private links for photo files.

6. Retention and Your Rights

We keep your account and content while your account exists, and delete or anonymise it within 30 days of closure unless the law requires us to keep records longer. Depending on where you live you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or take your data elsewhere; UK and EEA users may also complain to their supervisory authority. We use essential cookies and browser storage only, to keep you signed in and to complete checkout.
